The kind of diving I do

From relaxed local reefs to wrecks and further-flung expeditions. If it’s your sort of diving, get in touch.

Subaquatic Explorers takes a small number of certified divers to interesting sites, mostly by referral. Every outing is planned around the people on it — your experience, your comfort, and the conditions on the day.

Guided Shore & Boat Dives

Relaxed, well-paced dives at Southeast Queensland’s best accessible sites — the reefs and bommies of Moreton Bay, Flinders Reef and beyond. Perfect for building experience and enjoying the water without the pressure of a big group. Suits Open Water divers and up.

Wreck Dives

Explore wrecks like the ex-HMAS Brisbane with a wreck-trained guide who knows how to read them safely. The scale, the marine life that claims them, the history — diving one with someone experienced makes all the difference. Suits Advanced and experienced divers.

Expeditions & Trips

Every so often the diving takes us further afield — multi-dive trips to standout destinations, from tropical blue holes to remote reefs and wrecks. Planned carefully and kept small, with everything looked after from the first descent to the last. Destinations vary; ask what’s coming up.

A few common questions

What certification do I need?

It depends on the dive — tell me your level and I’ll match the diving to you.

Can I just book?

Not quite — this is a small, referral-based operation, so get in touch and we’ll take it from there.

What should I bring?

Generally your own dive gear in good working order, plus your certification card and logbook.

What if the weather turns?

Safety comes first — if conditions aren’t right we’ll postpone.
